Role in the 1031 Exchange Process

As specialist in 1031 Exchanges, we work with a wide range of real estate products that offer an investor a complete vista of available solutions to meet their exchange goals.  There are no "cookie cutter" strategies.  Since there is a multitude of options encompassed under one umbrella, an asset allocation plan can be designed which is unique to each investors future strategy.  With this approach in mind, a client becomes educated in the process and can fully evaluate all the options.  They never have to feel they are being directed to one solution over another which may benefit the advisor but not necessarily the client.

Steps taken in the 1031 process:

  • Review goals and investment strategies.
  • Confirm equity, debt and time lines.
  • Discuss various investment options.
  • Plan one or more asset allocation strategies.
  • Execute the plan.
  • Coordinate all due diligence materials, contracts and investor paperwork.
  • Interface with Intermediary, CPA, Attorney and other third party entities.
  • Help facilitate closings within specified deadlines.
